This photo was taken on May 3, 2013 and represents the inaugural class at a school in Georgia. The school initially started as a "youth embroidery workshop" funded by SPA during 2011/2012. The workshop was so successful and popular that community leaders and students desired a school that not only encompassed embroidery, but drawing, theatre, and fashion design as well. Through the generous support of Open Society Georgia Foundation and Peace Corps Partnership Program, the Ninotsminda Art School was established in April 2013 to include these art programs and more for youth in our community.
