This May my family had the opportunity to visit my home in site. We celebrated my birthday and invited everyone in the village to come eat my favorite local meals, dance salsa and hit an avocado shaped piñata filled with sweets! It wasn't until I arrived back in the village after our family vacation that I became emotional about them leaving- friends, children and parents approached me to let me know how incredible it was to meet them and how much fun they had playing games and laughing with my dad. It was absolutely amazing being to share these experiences, friendships and love with so many people that mean so much to me.
