This photo was taken in Armenia on July 20th, 2014. The photo shows the innocence of a child and what it takes to be happy, simple human interactions. My work with Peace Corps and my organizations has been wonderful, but what really gets me through my time here are my relationships with the locals. My new family here remains me that the most valuable gift I can give them as a volunteer is my time and my friendship. These are moments, minutes, hours, days, in my life that I can not take back, and I choose to share these moments with them, and them with me. Together we have made memories that will last a lifetime.
