PCV Bill Beatty, 27, of Silver Spring, MD teaches electricity at the Manama Secondary Technical School. In the photo shown, he is supervising third-year students who are repairing a light fixture. Beatty earned his bachelor's degree in government and politics at the University of Maryland in 1977, and returned to the University of Maryland in 1977, and returned to the University in 1973-74 to study education and industrial arts.
