PCV Maria Pontus, 23, of Somerset NJ is a PC art teacher in St. Thomas, Barbados. She is shown here with some of her students in classes which include drawing, painting, sculpture, mobiles, collage and print making. Her time is divided between Welches Mixed School (shown here) and St. Thomas Mixed School where she teaches all levels from kindergarten to seventh. Maria received a BA in art education in 1974 from Westminster College.
