PCV Elinor Leland, 25, of Cantonville, MD is assigned to Belize as a PC veterinary laboratory technician. Her job is to assist the local veterinarian in giving injections or medication and studying animal diseases and figuring out the best ways to use the limited amount of drugs the laboratory has available. Here she is shown with the veterinarian discussing lab work. Miss Leland earned her bachelor's degree in dairy science from the University of Georgia in Athens in 1970 and a master's degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana in 1972.
