I took this photo on October 31, 2013 at the site of my first project: the construction of a marketplace for my village. Previously, the closest market to the village was over six miles away, which lead to many people not being able to maximize the profits of their goods. With this new market, the economic growth in the area exploded. These two pavilions were built with WAFSP funds on one hectare of centrally-located land donated by the community.
