I took this photo at the Dibete AIDS Day Celebration in Dibete, Botswana on World AIDS Day, December 1, 2005. The HIV rate in Dibete is quite high (in one study conducted by the PMTCT Counselor in the area over 45.8% of those tested), as it is on the main highway in Botswana and is a frequent stop for truckers. World AIDS Day events help to reduce the stigma of testing and accessing treatment.
