PCV Ellen Kay Gill completed nearly three years of Peace Corps service in South and Central America in November, 1976. During her first year, she reorganized a library in Managua, Nicaragua that had been severaly damaged in a 1972 earthquake, and over the past two years she helped reorganize and oceanographic library in the fisheries school of the Universidad Catolica in Valparaiso, a large coastal city about 85 miles from Santiago. Here Miss Gill and her Chilean counterpart, Maria Eugenia Gomez, work in the library at the Universidad Catolica.
