This photo was taken at my birthday party hosted by my English major students. Even though it was pouring rain the entire morning the students went to the grocery store, picked up all the items they would need to cook a feast. They even picked up a birthday cake, which some students ended up wearing later. They made hot pot, dishes, and barbecue; everything was delicious and I was very touched by how much effort my students put into celebrating my birthday. This photo is when they were enjoying the fruit of their labors.
