This photo was taken during an all girls camp (camp GLOW) provided by a group of PCVs in Costa Rica July 2nd 2013. During this photo I was giving a Sexual health talk to the teenage girls. As a motivation and introduction to the talk, i told the girls to pretend they are in a party and had to shake hands with 3 girls and write their names (before they started shaking hands one random girl was picked to wear a glove, and another random girl was picked to place a small amount of red paint on her hand with out telling them what it was for, just told them to make pretend they didn't have anything and do the activity). Once they finished the hand shaking i asked them to read off the names of the people they shook hands with and for them to stand up. When they all read they names i asked them to show me thier hands. Those who had a red paint stain we diagnosed with an STI, and the girl with the gloved came in contact but was saved because she was protected.
