The PCVs are assigned to the Presbyterian Agricultural Service at Moma, an isolated village and abandoned missionary post in the southern part of Zaire. Their job is to help run a demonstration farm and extension center, whose comprehensive development program includes rabbit, poultry and swine production, animal traction, demonstration field plots, a carpenter's co-op, fish cultivation, seed multiplication, grain storage and village sanitation.
