This photo was taken November 2013 in Fiji, where rural nurses from the Bua province participated in the Helping Babies Breathe Neonatal Resuscitation training. During her visit to Fiji Dr. Shviraga co-faciltated the training with her daughter Lauren who was serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer at the hospital. Dr. Shviraga is shown teaching local nurses the proper technique for ventilating and resuscitating a neonate. Each nursing station and health center in the province was equipped with a neonatal resuscitation kit upon completion of the training.
