Volunteer Photos Hand-weaving Corte Corte, the traditional Indigenous wrap worn by women is hand made with several steps. This giant loom is the final step of this process that takes several weeks. In the town of San Andres Xecul, Totonicapan, Guatemala, corte is made by the majority of families and is sold in local markets. This photo was taken in December 2011.
