Chickens and Pigs on Market Day Market days are typically 1-2 times a week in the towns, daily in the big cities, and from the campo (rural areas) they bring down chickens in baskets on the camionetas (chicken buses) to sell in the market. They even put pigs on top of the buses to carry down, or in pick-up trucks. This picture was taken in Olintepeque, Quetzaltenango, Guatemala in November 2011.
