The WORLD BANK is providing funds to Malaysia to assist a school construction and expansion project which will provide over 10,000 new student places, of which the greater part will be vocational, technical and agriculture schools. This will alleviate a severe shortage of technicians and craftsmen needed to implement the Government's plans for industrial development and more diversified agriculture.
