volunteer Mary Hektner (in middle, with green shirt) is encouraging a group of young women to come to a Festival for Parque Nacional Volcán Nevado de Colima. I think she captured their interest and they came over and joined the activities, The SPA-funded festival, organized by volunteer Steven Walker, celebrated the nearby national park and heightened people's awareness of their national park and its importance to the community. The festival included lectures, displays, music and activities about the park over five days, June 5 - 9, 2013. I took the photo on June 7. I believe it fits the category, SPA in Action.
