"All hands on deck!" In the (landlocked) Eastern European country of Moldova, a Fitness Park project was driven by the youth volunteer club, with guidance from my counterpart who is president of an NGO. I took this picture in June 2013, during the several days of work that was part of the community contribution for this project. Not only did the core group of volunteers show up for work, but new recruits were brought along. These kids were mobilizing their peers to be part of a community improvement project. Many different hands were on deck to participate and many of them arrived after working the morning in their families' fields.
