On February 10, my school in the Kavango Region of Northern Namibia held its inter-hose athletics competition. Athletics is very important in my region because of the high prevalence of teenage pregnancy, alcohol, and drug use. It provides children with a healthy way to release stress. This photo was taken right after the 8 and Under 60 meter sprint. The grade 0 learners were so tired after running that they sat under the administration tent to watch the next few heats of races.
