PCV- Nepal 1998-2000 Brett Johnson (grp. 188) & Romana Villasenor (grp. 187): During Saturday public market in Nepal, Brett and I collaborated on doing a handwashing program - I talked to the locals about the importance of washing hands with soap to prevent disease. Brett agreed to make pancakes which we gave for free so long as the person demonstrated good hand washing. Everyone was fascinated with the pancake and couldn't wait to taste it. It was also a good cultural exchange with the Nepalis. We had a great time.
