This photo was taken by my host sister. We were in a tent filled with over 400 people, on the night of one of the largest thunder storms of the season. As the finale of the dance concert/religious ceremony, I was asked to come up and do a solo. As a female volunteer in Nepal, you must be ready to dance like this, often, as it is expected at all major events. I pulled out my best American and Nepali dance moves-the crowd seemed to like it.
