During my first year living in my community in Nicaragua, I loved spending my afternoons working with a youth group making videos about the community. After a while it became too much to continue editing all of the footage myself and so with a community counterpart I put on a video editing workshop for the members of the youth group. What's more, we combined the project with HIV/AIDS training for the youth participants and spent the duration of the time practicing by working on videos related to HIV/AIDS in our community.
