We were honored to welcome our friends from Special Olympics at Peace Corps HQ today, including Chairman and CEO Dr. Tim Shriver, to celebrate our shared history and productive partnership. Our Chief of Staff Stacy Rhodes, Director Aaron Williams, and Dr. Shriver all spoke about the importance of fostering respect and dignity for all in communities around the world.
In addition, Peace Corps Response Volunteers Catherine Fabiano and Meisha Robinson joined by webex to share about their work with Special Olympics in Panama and South Africa.
Peace Corps and Special Olympics are committed to continue to find ways to work together to promote world peace and friendship and create a better world through acceptance and inclusion of all people.
