I took this photo on the first day I ever helped to remove the rice from the husk. I took the photo on August 3rd, 2012. I was only in site for about a month at this time. This family made a special effort to teach me the traditional practices. I was quite impressed and overwhelmed with all the work that goes into processing rice and how it takes a whole family.
