This is a photo of kids I have watched grow over the last two years. One day the decided to harness their musical abilities and formed a band. They were playing in the traditional style of tipico music. One on the drum, one on the harmonica, another with a gourd, and the little girls dancing. To me, they showed their creativity and connection to their culture as well as their desire to make sure I got it all on film. They are always showing up at my house looking to listen to tipico music and dance. I was glad to see they wanted to make their own music.
