This photo was taken June 2013, in Rwanda. Hand washing is among the most effective and inexpensive ways to prevent diarrheal diseases and pneumonia, which are frequently treated at many health centers in Rwanda. Working together, local Community Health Workers and the PCV are building hand washing station, "tippy taps" for families around the community, teaching/showing the importance of handwashing in combatting preventable illnesses!!
