PCV Denise Garcia is sharing a laugh with local farmers at a cashew tree training in Senegal. PVC Garcia is demonstrating how to fill tree sacks and place them in shaded nurseries. This was the beginning of a regional project encouraging cashew orchards to combat deforestation (and creeping desertification) and increase fruit/ nut production in the Peanut Basin in Senegal.
