This is my village brother Ensa Traore stuffing peanuts into a burlap sack. This photo was taken in the fall of 1981 in the village of Dawady Mansa Pathe, 35km north of Koussanar, near Tambacounda. Peanuts are eaten for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are also a cash crop.
