I took this enroute to Sierra leone in 1967. We all slept on the bus and in the morning the driver and his assistant went to the nearest village and came back with some helpers. There was a big 'discussion' over how much it would cost to be pushed out! This happened several times. The red suitcase on top of the vehicle was given to me for a college graduation present. After 3 days of solid rain, it fell apart. It contained my 2 years supply of cotton underwear.
