HIV Calendar -- Girls in Grades 6 and 7 learned to make an AIDS Ribbon Quilt as part of the Palala Girls Club, an initiative started by Rachel Johnson (RPCV) in Kgobagodimo, South Africa. Over the course of the school year, the girls were empowered with various skills (jewelry-making, sewing, etc.) while being taught complimentary lessons related to women and health.
