Delta Shay DeWeese, 24, of Delano, California, is an agricultural science teacher at Sandy Point Junior and Senoir High School. She teaches about 200 students at all levels. The students work in the school's garden, where they learn to plant, care for and harvest crops. She has a B.S. in animal science from the University of California at DAvis (1974).
