This was an end result of a PEPFAR-funded chicken project. The group consists of 10 HIV positive people, 5 people with disabilities and 5 fully healthy people. The group broke down stigma among the village regarding HIV positive people and people with disabilities. The project resulted in 7 small chicken bands and 1 large group banda. Here is Mary, HIV positive, and leader of the group at her own small banda. She has already begun sellling the eggs and extra chickens for extra cash. She is now a self-sustaining women!
