These pigeons, in the north of Benin, live in cut-up water containers that allow the pigeons to nest inside. One can also use scrap pieces of metal, like the birdhouse seen on the right. The bottom half of a water container sits atop a pronged piece of wood and is used as a water source for drinking and bathing.
