Three Kenyan secondary students (from left: A-Star, Monica, and Emily) attend May 2012 Camp GLOW for 55 secondary female students from Kenya's Eastern and Coast Provinces. The camp focuses on HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, stigma reduction, as well as focusing on careers, goal setting, planning for the future and gender based violence. The girls are empowered to think outside of just the village life and to question the niche society has created for what a female "should" do.
