My Peace Corps service included working directly with artisans to facilitate their understanding of basic marketing fundamentals. I accompanied them to a craft fair and suggested they put price stickers on products to facilitate sales to tourists; it worked so well that we used this experience in discussion when we got back to the village to share the success with the other artisans.
