RPCV Bio: I am currently working as a summer park ranger with the US Army Corps of Engineers at Coralville Lake, Iowa under the Pathways Intern program while completing my Master's degree in biology at Western Illinois University in Moline, IL. My duties are in the interpretive and recreational sector and I enjoy working with campers and educating school groups about our Devonian Fossil Gorge. During Peace Corps service, I earned the nickname "Dan the Adventure Man" from fellow PCV's for traveling abroad during my breaks from teaching a class of roughly 40 students.
