I took this photo during my Malaria Day at our village Health Post. In the picture is fellow PVC Jennifer Park, a health volunteer, and one of my counterparts. They were in charge of educating the community about malaria, ways to prevent, and proper use of their new mosquito net. At least one member of each family had to participate with the education in order to recieve a net. We were able to educate around 600 people that day. The event was part of the Stomp Out Malaria in Africa campaign and it took place on November 12th, 2012. I am also submitting pictures of myself working closely with counterparts to check people off the list as we hand out nets and various other pictures from that day.
