I took this photo on January 23, 2013. The photo shows women dancing, singing, and celebrating after a meeting. The meeting was part of a survey campaign I was conducting to gauge the interest of the local villagers in the construction of a marketplace, which was an idea they had originally proposed. This was a life-defining moment for me because it showed me that the villagers were motivated, excited, and ready to work with me on this daunting project.
