This photo was taken during an HIV/AIDS awareness fundraising project. The kids in my volunteer club called, Together We Can Succeed, were baking AIDS ribbon cookies to sell for materials for more prevention projects. All of the cookies were hand made, hand painted, and wrapped by the kids in my club. The kids are all from the a small Roma village in Bulgaria. The kids were so proud of their accomplishment. This picture is of Gergana, forming the cookies by hand, with Kiro and Nasco cutting the dough in the background. This project was held in 2011.
