I took this photo on Dec 14th, 2009 at Aeolus All Age School located in Jamaica. The photo shows the SPA canteen expansion project's ground breaking work days where Aeolus Valley parents, community members, and youth volunteered. The SPA canteen expansion project's purpose was to create a large sanitary space to allow for quick meal preparation for lunches and the Heart of a Child Foundation’s free breakfast program. The canteen expansion significantly reduced the time for meal preparation allowing student to spend more time in class and increased storage space for essential materials.
