This is a photo of a parade our school had for my husband and me at the end of our two year service in June 2014. It felt like a dream, they had just dressed us in traditional Liberian clothes and sang a Kpelle song for us the entire way from our school to our home. As education volunteers in central Liberia we were able to work with the local government high school and with students of all ages, many older than us.
