Malaria Training for Karate Students in Tanambe Prior to Tanambe's Malaria Festival, I trained Tanambe's karate students in bed net care and repair techniques. The karate students practiced repairing bed net holes, learned how to change square nets into round nets, and asked questions about how malaria is contracted and treated. The karate students then shared their knowledge and new skills with the community during the malaria festival on April 25, 2013.
