In this photo my friends Roni, 10, and Michele, 12, are enjoying an afternoon on their homemade swing. The ingenuity of the Mozambican children to have fun with basic resources -- from picnics with jar lids, to swings with sticks and strings, to pretend sound systems with mud and old wires -- always inspired me. This photo inspired my first Children's book -- A Moveable Throne.
