I took this photo during the first day of my town's wastecollection program on August 1st, 2011, in Togo. The community organized a waste collection program that involved community workers going house-to-house to collect domestic waste. This photo shows households dropping off their waste containers as community workers collect them using their collection carts, made possible by SPA funding.
