We were visiting a fellow Peace Corps Volunteer at their service site in Zarbdar, Jizzak region, Uzbekistan during Navruz. Navruz is a very popular and important holiday for the Uzbek people. As we were making our way through town these children were playing on this vintage Soviet motorcycle. I gestured towards my camera and asked in the best Russian I could muster if I could take their picture. They answered in smiles and began posing for the camera. One of them playing peek a boo.
