I was invited to give a motivational speech at a rural Islamic school near my village. I had no idea what to expect as us volunteers had come to "embrace the ambiguity". When I arrived, there were over a hundred eager and smiling faces, graced in jilbabs, waiting to meet me. We ended up having really great conversation about the differences between American and Indonesian culture and educational opportunities.
