This photo was taken up in the hills of Lofa County in Liberia, West Africa. I remember seeing this women and admiring the colors she wore. I asked if I could take her photo and she agreed. I love the vibrant colors she wore and showed her the picture afterwards. She smiled and said thank you for taking my picture. Most Liberian women dress in vibrant lappa (African textiles). As a volunteer, I've brought back home many of these beautiful african fabrics. They remind me of a colorful Liberia.
